We are now incorporated!We are getting closer to incorporating the club and here is one of the final steps to doing so. Everyone is required to fill this form out and send it in with your annual membership dues if you would like to be a member. All information on the membership form will be kept confidential and only club officers will have access to it. How this will work is by June 1 2009 if your form and dues are not received your forum account will be changed to a registered member and will lose access to member areas of the forum. The date was set to make the changes to the forum accounts, if you cannot send your dues in by this date you can still send it at a later date to become a member. I am working on a list of membership benefits and will post the final list here and on the website at a later date. Below is a taste of what the benefits will look like. I wanted to accept paypal for the dues but at this time I don't think it will work. When you accept paypal payments they take a cut and to get incorporated we are going to need every dollar.

Ability to buy club gear
Invites to events other than trail runs

Forum PM's per folder for club member goes from 5 to 500
Use of the avatar feature
Available for periodic giveaways

NOTE: Some of these benefits will take time to setup.

If you would prefer to turn the form and dues in in person that can be arranged. I am working on getting a P.O. Box for the club but until I get one we will use my home address.

I want to thank everyone for all the help and support given over the past year! We have a lot of great ideas in the works and I look forward to the great years to come!

I had to make some changes to the membership form. If you already sent it dont worry about it but if not please print an new form or add your forum user name next to your real name.

I was asked about family membership and if you want to add a family member just add their name on your membership form. The dues for individual and family are the same, no need to send more for your spouse, children.

I know the cut off date is June 1st, but would it be ok if I brought my membership form and dues to the club run the following weekend?

That's fine. June 1st isn't really a cutoff date, it's a date I set for forum membership. Once that date passes those who haven't joined will not be able to see member areas of the forum.

Jeff, if you are going to be up this way this weekend, I will give you mine. If not, whenever the next meeting is I will hand it to you.
